Queen Elizabeth II

It is with profound sadness that Gildersome Parish Council join with many throughout the country to mourn the death of Her Late Majesty The Queen. Throughout her long reign, with all the challenges of a changing world, Queen Elizabeth II has been a constant, faithful presence.

There is a Book of Condolence open at St. Peter’s Church.

This week the Church will be open on the following days and times-

Tuesday 13th 1pm – 7.30pm

Wednesday 14th 3.30pm – 7pm

Thursday 15th 10am to midday

Friday 16th 9am to midday

for people to sign, light a candle or say a prayer.

Floral tributes may be left near the Cenotaph on the Green but please request that flowers are not left in cellophane.
