Reducing The Risk Of Car Theft

During the last month there have been a number of reports of car thefts in Gildersome. This is particularly related to ‘high end’ cars.

The Police attended the September Parish Council meeting and confirmed that these ‘keyless’ entries to vehicles were becoming commonplace across the UK.

To combat this form of car theft a simple device called a Faraday Pouch has been produced. This is a car signal blocker. Two pouches can be purchased for less than £10. Another effective deterrent, is obviously, the crook lock.
